THEATER
Warhol Capote | Now through October 13
See the play that Andy Warhol and Truman Capote wanted to produce, but never finished at the ART’s Loeb Drama Center. The play had its world premiere right here in Cambridge, (we’re a pretty big deal!), which means you have to grab your ticket before the play ends on October 13th.
Amazingly enough, Warhol and Capote recorded a series of intimate and wide-ranging conversations that have never been heard before until now. The play, created by award-winning director Rob Roth and staged by Tony-award winning Director Michael Mayer adapted Warhol Capote from the hours and hours of conversations between the two creative geniuses.

FESTIVAL + EAT
Dumpling Festival + the Central Flea | September 24
Yes, you read the title correctly. Two of your favorite events in one day, in one place.
The Central Flea returns to Prospect Street in Central Square this Sunday afternoon. The eclectic flea boasts vintage and antique furniture dealers, music, local food, artists and designers, and so much more, making the Central Flea a must-see event.
And if that’s not enough, one of Central Square’s most beloved traditions, the Dumpling Festival, in honor of Joyce Chen makes its grand debut at the flea this Sunday. Joyce Chen is credited with popularizing northern-style Chinese cuisine in the United States, the patent holder of the stir-fry pan and the first person to bottle Chinese stir-fry sauce in the U.S market. Otherwise known as, a pretty big deal! Celebrate Chen with savory dumplings from over fifteen local restaurants and food trucks.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS…
Charles River Clean Up Boat | October 4
One of our favorite parts of Cambridge is the sparkling Charles River. We love sitting on the banks of the river to watch the Head of the Charles Regatta, touring on a Charles Riverboat, and kayaking during the warm summer months.
Because the river is always so clean and pretty, you probably didn’t even realize that the river has its own personal glam squad, AKA the Charles River Clean Up Boat. The dedicated crew keeps our river beautiful by working tirelessly to keep the river free of trash and marine debris.
On Wednesday, October 4, attend a fundraiser on the Charles Riverboat, sponsored by the Boston Duck Tours, Charles Riverboat Company and the Museum of Science. You’ll be treated to beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres while cruising down the river.
