Magazine Beach Park Nature Center

Located along the Charles River in Cambridge, Magazine Beach Park has long been a haven for city residents seeking the outdoors close to home and visitors looking to spend time outdoors in Cambridge. Thanks to a partnership between Mass Audubon and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), Mass Audubon brings their Nature in the City program to this urban greenspace at the Magazine Beach Park Nature Center. Programs are based out of the historic stone Powder Magazine building, once a storage location for public and private stores of gunpowder from 1818 until approximately 1863. There's something for everyone at Magazine Beach!
