Welcome to the Cambridge Office for Tourism website, your gateway to exploring and experiencing the vibrant and innovative city of Cambridge, Massachusetts!

At the Cambridge Office for Tourism, our mission is to make your visit unforgettable by providing valuable trip planning information and insider tips on everything Cambridge has to offer. We are passionate about showcasing Cambridge’s unique blend of history, innovation, culture and spirit.

Our Story

The Cambridge Office for Tourism is responsible for all destination marketing, public relations, and visitor services for Cambridge, Massachusetts. The office has served as the central hub for tourism marketing and visitor information for the City of Cambridge for over 25 years. The office is also responsible for the operation of our Visitor Information Center located in the heart of Harvard Square.

We enrich the City of Cambridge by promoting its many special attractions and cultural amenities to residents, students, leisure travelers and business/meeting planners both nationally and internationally in order to create a stable and consistent positive economic impact on the City of Cambridge.

We are a 501c(6) non-profit organization funded primarily through grants from the City of Cambridge, the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority, and Cambridge hotel rooms assessments through the Tourism Destination Marketing District legislation.
