Harvard ARTS FIRST Festival celebrates the arts through free performances, exhibitions, and art-making opportunities. Here's everything you need to know about the festival.

WHO

Harvard student, faculty, and affiliate artists will share their work with attendees of all ages.

WHAT

There are more than 100 festival events featuring music, dance, theater, public art, visual art, martial arts, and stations to make art of your own.

WHEN

8pm Tuesday, April 30 | pre-festival concert

5 and 8pm Wednesday, May 1 | pre-festival music workshop and concert

4 - 5:30pm Thursday, May 2 | Harvard Arts Medal Ceremony

5:30 - 7pm Friday, May 3 | Jazz on the Plaza

12:30 - 5pm Saturday, May 4 | main festival

11am - 7pm on Sunday, May 5 | two special concerts to close out the week

WHERE

The festival is at Harvard's iconic and historic locations including university classrooms, stages, museums, and the Yard.

HOW TO ATTEND

Most events do not require tickets. However, tickets are required for Wednesday’s concert, Thursday’s Harvard Arts Medal Ceremony, and Sunday night’s concert. All tickets are free.
