The event’s guest speaker is Armand Hunter from Home Base, an organization that helps service members and veterans heal after experiencing trauma. A Q&A session will be led by Francisco Urena, Secretary of Veterans’ Services for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The Third Annual Veterans Appreciation Week starts on November 11 at Cambridge Cemetery with a Veterans Day Observance ceremony. Activities that veterans can expect the rest of the week include acupuncture, guided meditation, fitness and nutrition tips, restorative therapy, art workshops, social gatherings, food and refreshments.
