Pottery on the Patio at One Reason Garden Bar, The Charles Hotel!

Join The Charles Hotel for this inclusive, beginner-friendly pottery class at One Reason Garden Bar! First, guests will get an intro to pottery including the pinch pot and coil technique. The expert host will cover all the basics, and with step-by-step instructions, guests will learn to hand build a pinch pot. Then, they'll learn how to make their pot into a variety of functional pottery pieces like a vase, hanging planters, pot for an air plant, candle holders, smiley planter pals, and more.

Tickets include a frozen cocktail from One Reason Garden Bar to enjoy during class, a 2-hour workshop on pottery basics, how to create pinch pots, coils, and how to transform them into a variety of unique handmade gifts, home décor and functional pottery. Guests will also make + take home 1-3 pieces of pottery as well as receive a signature 'Beginner Pottery Kit' which includes everything one needs to make their pottery during class (and to take home to create more after class!!). Kick off the spring/summer season with us for some fun pottery and drinks!

Note: Guests can let their piece of pottery air dry then paint it with the included paint. Or, to make their pottery waterproof + foodsafe, click here to upgrade to ceramic pieces, which includes glazing and firing of their creations. Pieces are to be shipped back to attendees in 6-8 weeks.
