Kelly Bray & Jacob Hiser Duet

Join the Creative Music Series for their first concert of the new year on Saturday, Feb. 1! Hear Kelly Bray on the trumpet and Jacob Hiser on the piano. As an improvising duo, Bray and Hiser create exciting textures spanning across many styles and traditions. Tickets are $18 for general admission and $15 for students and seniors. The doors open at 7:30pm, then the performance begins at 8pm.

Kelly Bray is an improviser recognized for her adventurous and dynamic performances. While her work draws from many different styles and influences, she is most frequently characterized within the experimental, free jazz, and creative music realms. Jacob Hiser is a versatile pianist/violinist who studies and performs a variety of musical traditions. Born and raised in rural Missouri, he grew up playing bluegrass, country, blues, rock, jazz, and European classical music.
