Gallery Talk: Works on Paper

Join curatorial fellow Madeline Murphy Turner on July 16, at 12:30pm for a deep dive into Lee Bontecou’s and Eva Hesse’s drawings and prints of the 1960s. Through close looking, Turner will share how each artist expresses the relationship between void and matter and how their work creates the sense of three-dimensional space on a two-dimensional surface.

This gallery talk is part of our New on View series, highlighting recent gallery installations and presenting new insights into recent acquisitions or old favorites. Please check in with museum staff at the Visitor Services desk in the Calderwood Courtyard to request to join the talk. Talks are limited to 18 people and are available on a first-come, first-served basis; no registration is required.
