Gallery Talk: Günther Uecker’s Spiral White
Join graduate student intern Cheyanne Stunger for a deep dive into Günther Uecker’s work "Spiral White" (1963) on Thursday, Aug. 22. Stunger will share how Uecker’s dynamic use of the common household nail activates a delicate interplay between light and shadow and expresses the contradictions of a postwar German artist.
