Carnevale di Tango

Enjoy an evening of music, dance and instruction from world-class performers from South America at the Dante Alighieri Society in celebration of Carnevale di Tango on Saturday, Feb. 26. The Duo Scofano-Minetti (bandoneón/piano) along with Boston Tango Orchestra founder Karmiy (double bass) and "440" leader Iwamoto (violinist) present a stunning repertoire of music to be danced by Fernanda Ghi and Silvio Grand with astonishing power and beauty. It is the intensity of their performances and interpretations, their extraordinary level of musicianship and dance plus the originality of their compositions that makes this performance so unique. Distinguished David Chester will bring the post-concert evening to a close as he serves as the DJ for the post-concert milonga with grace and style.
