Cambridge LGBTQ+ Visionaries Walking Tour

Join Christopher Street Tours for a Cambridge LGBTQ+ Visionaries Walking Tour! On this tour around Cambridge, discover the many ‘firsts’ in LGBTQ+ organizing and the LGBTQ+ rights movement by visiting historic sites and exploring the stories of activists that paved the way. Along this tour, see where the first same-sex marriages in the country took place, learn about a Black feminist organizing collective, visit the location where the earliest women and queer studies courses occurred, and hear about advocacy for LGBTQ+ students in public schools. Sites include Cambridge City Hall, YWCA Cambridge, the Cambridge Public Library, and more. The tour starts at Cambridge City Hall and ends in Harvard Square. Registration is required.
