The Comedy Stuido

After it’s founding in 1996, The Comedy Studio quickly became known as the greater Boston area’s premier club for up-and-coming talent, helping to launch the careers of many now well-known comedians, comedy writers, and producers.

Eugene Mirman, Ali Wong, Sarah Silverman, Pete Holmes, Gary Gulman, Mike Birbiglia, Colin Jost, Sam Jay, Josh Gondelman, Jen Kirkman and many other comedians and comedy writers have been regular performers at the Studio, often before their careers took off. Even today they’re still likely to drop in to do sets or just hang out.

Today, The Comedy Studio still provides a platform and an inclusive environment where comedians and other artists feel at home and can deliver memorable, entertaining performances. The Studio encourages originality and has programs to support and develop professional talent.
