If you love everything having to do with salsa — from the dancing to chips and salsa– well, Salsa Squared is the perfect event for you. Salsa your way over to Brattle Plaza in Harvard Square to enjoy free salsa from 7p and 10p. Step into the beer garden located in the center of all of the action to sip ice cold beer and sangria from enjoy from Ej Jefe’s.
A salsa festival wouldn’t be complete without a little salsa dancing and great music. That’s where musical guest Dj D. Martinez and professional salsa dancer, now-teacher Jennifer Earls come in. You’ll learn new moves from a professional salsa dancer, while Dj D. Martinez provides the sounds.

Space: An Out-of-Gravity Experience | June 28
Escape the heat at the Museum of Science this weekend. The newest temporary exhibit, Space: An Out-of-Gravity experience allows visitors to travel to space without ever having to leave Cambridge. You’ll experience the sights, sounds, and even smells on board the International Space Station and try some of the engineering feats that support the astronauts as they journey their way through space.

Cambridge Jazz Festival | July 29
The event we’ve been waiting for all summer is finally here! Head over to Danehy Park this Sunday afternoon for the 5th Annual Cambridge Jazz Festival. The free festival, (yes, we said free!) will feature world-renowned musicians from near and far, face-painting for little ones, and food trucks. Among the many talented musicians who will be performing this year, we can’t wait to hear this year’s headliner, Terri Lyne Carrington.

You’ll definitely want to mark the 2nd Annual Char & Bar Wars on your calendars. Your favorite restaurants from all over Cambridge will gather together at University Park in Central Square to battle it out to see who has the best burger and cocktail in town.
