Woodblock Printing: Seasonal Cards

This three-part workshop invites participants to explore centuries-old artistic traditions through modern fabrication technology. After an introduction to woodblock printing techniques, attendees will create their own prints across three sessions. The series begins with learning how to use the museum’s laser cutter, followed by using design software to transform photos, words, or graphics into bold outlines. The final session focuses on inking and adding color to the finished laser-cut blocks. Participants can use their new skills to craft seasonal cards or artistic prints in any style.
