Where Football Lives World Record Attempt
- This event has passed.
June 6 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
On June 6, the football world will come together for something truly special: a global attempt to set an official world record for the most people juggling a football at the same time, united across cities, countries, and continents. Players of all ages and abilities will take part in one shared moment to juggle a football for 10 seconds at the same time.
The event is open to residents, students, families, visitors, and soccer fans of all skill levels. The registration fee is $15, a portion of which is allocated to a dedicated fund focused on safeguarding grassroot soccer pitches from climate-related risks. Advance registration is required through footballworldrecord.com.
This mass participation event will be unlike anything football has ever seen. No stadium walls. No borders. Just people, passion, and a shared belief that football isn’t just a game; it’s a global language and a force for good. The event will create a moment to celebrate unity through football and shine a spotlight on the game’s vulnerability to extreme weather, as well as the need to protect the game is played.
The world record attempt, sponsored by the Cambridge Office for Tourism, will kick off an exciting summer of activity in Cambridge!
