Proposal Writing with Laura Knott

This proposal writing class will meet for three consecutive Wednesdays via Zoom, beginning April 13. Securing financial support from foundations, cultural organizations and residency programs means writing compelling proposals. This workshop will teach techniques for writing engaging proposals that, in addition to providing access to funds, will also help artists grow. Registration is $140 for CAA members and $160 for non-members. The workshop will be offered in three sessions, with individual and small group work in each session:

Session 1, April 13:

• Finding opporSessiontunities

• Exploring research techniques

• Crafting a flexible project description

Session 2, April 20:

• Understanding what kinds of questions will be asked in a proposal

• How to answer those questions

Session 3, April 27:

• Developing writing techniques to get proposals noticed
