In Search of Darby Vassall: Tour of Cambridge & Beyond

Led by Denise Washington (a descendant of Darby Vassall) and Joel Mackall, the Denise Plays Hard Tour, will take place by trolley and will travel to seven stops around Cambridge. Each stop reflects a key location in the life of Darby Vassall, a lifelong community activist who endured slavery and seized freedom with his family in Revolutionary Cambridge. Dinner will be provided after the tour. The tour starts at the Longfellow House-Washington’s Headquarters.
