The ancient site of Hadda, located near present-day Jalalabad, was a major center of Buddhist art and culture between the 1st and 6th centuries CE. Hadda’s sculptures offer a glimpse into Afghanistan’s vibrant role in the spread of Buddhism along the Silk Road. This talk focuses on original artworks from Hadda and explores their historical and spiritual significance. Please note that this talk will be conducted in Dari.
