Composer Errollyn Wallen’s chamber opera “Dido’s Ghost” resurrects Virgil’s epic tale through a haunting new lens, setting the entirety of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas as a dream sequence bookended by Wallen’s evocative score.
The Orchestra and Chorus of Emmanuel Music perform in collaboration with the MIT Chamber Chorus under conductor Ryan Turner, with direction by Rebecca Miller Kratzer and choreography by Shura Baryshnikov.
