Security technologist Bruce Schneier and data scientist Nathan Sanders discuss their new book Rewiring Democracy: How AI Will Transform Our Politics, Government, and Citizenship in conversation with MIT’s Crystal Lee.

Together, they examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping democracy—its risks, possibilities, and the balance of power between lawmakers, civil servants, and the courts. The authors explore how AI may transform legislation, regulation, and law enforcement, offering an informed and cautiously optimistic look at the future of governance in the age of AI.
