After Dark: Spacetime
September 11 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Calling all space nerds! Join the MIT Museum this September for an evening that’s truly out of this world. Dive into the fabric of spacetime with renowned MIT physicists David Kaiser, Nergis Mavalvala and Salvatore Vitale. There will be hands-on demos and activities with MIT researchers exploring LIGO—the groundbreaking instrument that first detected gravitational waves and black holes.
There will also be an opportunity to play gravity games and space-themed maker activities. At the end of the event, guests will head outside to the MIT Open Space for a (weather permitting) telescope session under the stars. This event is for people 18 and older.
