101st Annual Feast of S.S. Cosimas & Damian
September 11 - September 13
Every year, the Cambridge community comes together for a multi-day celebration honoring “The Healing Saints” Cosmas and Damian. Featuring delicious food, games, rides, and free live entertainment, the Feast is a time for family, friends, and neighbors to connect and celebrate Italian traditions.
The festivities begin when the statues of Saints Cosmas and Damian are brought out from their chapel on Porter Street. Bands play the American and Italian national anthems, the traditional hymn “Lind,” and the Marcia Reale as confetti and fireworks fill the air. The Saints are placed in a temporary outdoor chapel on Warren Street while music, food, and carnival rides and games continue through the rest if the evening. This routine continues throughout the Feast weekend.
