“I took the train from Boston to Harvard Square and it was beautiful seeing the skylines as we passed over the river. I was so excited to visit Harvard’s campus and walk around Harvard Yard. I got a Harvard sweatshirt from the COOP then went to Joe’s for lunch and the pizza was so good. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Such a special full-circle visit to Cambridge. Having lived in Massachusetts before moving to Australia as an adult, I knew this trip back with my Aussie family had to include Cambridge—it’s always held a special place for me. It was so fun seeing it through their eyes for the first time. We of course spent time around Harvard, but Kendall Square ended up being a real highlight. The MIT Museum was fantastic, and doing a classic tour of the MIT campus was so fun—plus, the tour guides were excellent and made it really engaging for everyone. One of my favorite parts about Cambridge to show off was how easy it was to get around and explore different neighborhoods. I loved being able to show my family some of my old stomping grounds while also discovering new spots together. It made the whole experience feel both nostalgic and brand new at the same time!”

“Such a special first visit to Cambridge! Going in, all I really knew about the area was its connection to Harvard—which I was so excited to finally see in person—and this photo captures that moment perfectly: surrounded by beautiful historic brick buildings and leafy trees, just taking it all in. What made the trip so memorable, though, was realizing there’s so much more to Cambridge than just Harvard. The whole day felt quintessentially Cambridge: a little academic, a little charming, and full of energy. I ended the day with an amazing dinner at Harvest—absolutely delicious with such a cozy atmosphere—and made a stop at Lovestruck Books, which was such a fun little gem to wander through. I already can’t wait to come back and explore more of Central Square and Kendall Square—this trip was just the beginning!”
