Miss Christine’s Duo Performance

Miss Christine shatters preconceived notions and societal expectations with their music. The band is fronted by Christine Moad (they/them), a singer-songwriter and bassist from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Originally from Iowa, they graduated from Berklee College of Music and set off to travel the world from Tennessee to Monaco as a professionally touring bassist.

Their music blends indie rock with blues and soul influences, while their genderqueer and asexual identity inspires their lyrics, challenging the harmful stereotypes and expectations associated with gender and sexuality.

The band has extensively toured Midwest and New England Pride Festivals, and cultivated a strong community of queer and trans allyship across the United States, becoming sought-after for their jubilant performances and their engaging and informative Empowering Identities: A Genderqueer and Asexual Music Experience presentation.
