Cambridge Science Carnival

The Cambridge Science Festival has proudly offered thousands of free STEAM-themed programs to the Cambridge community for over 15 years. This longstanding tradition of accessible science education and engagement would not have been possible without the extraordinary support of hundreds of local organizations and individuals. The Festival team extends deep gratitude to everyone who has contributed over the years.
The Cambridge Science Carnival will return—bigger and better than ever—on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in the Kendall/MIT Open Space. Last year’s Carnival featured over 100 activity booths, more than 300 presenters, and welcomed over 17,000 attendees. Organizers anticipate an even larger turnout and expanded offerings for 2025. Community members and organizations are encouraged to participate by hosting an activity booth or volunteering at the event. More information is available on the Cambridge Science Carnival website.
