Announcing Cambridge’s MICHELIN-Recognized Restaurants!

We’re proud to celebrate the Cambridge restaurants making their debut in the 2025 MICHELIN Guide Northeast Cities!

Weekend guide: august 1-5

Spend the first weekend of August exploring Cambridge with our top five must-see and do events.

EAT

Char & Bar Wars | August 1

There’s something about burgers in the summertime. Summer wouldn’t be complete without eating a burger hot off the grill and a cold cocktail in your hands. That’s where the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce comes in. They’re hosting an event that features all the best of summer.

You don’t want to miss out on the 2nd Annual Char & Bar Wars on August 1st at University Park in Central Square. Your favorite restaurants from all over Cambridge will gather together to battle it out to see who has the best burger and cocktail in town. Taste slider size burgers and sip on cocktails and after you’ve tried them all… vote for your favorite.

FILM

Harvard Square Movie Night | August 3

Head over to Harvard Square on Friday night for a movie night under the stars! Grab your favorite movie-watching blanket and your go-to snack and get ready for the perfect Friday evening.

Although we can’t quite divulge the movie, we can give you a hint.

Enjoy a timeless animated classic that depicts the most successful band in history as they try to save Pepperland from the music-hating group of Blue Meanies! All you need is LOVE!
