The City of Cambridge is dedicated to the safety and protection of its community during these uncertain times. To that end, City officials are educating the public about Massachusetts’s restrictions on gatherings including all community, civic, public, leisure and faith-based events. The ban includes concerts, conventions, fitness centers, gyms, private clubs, cinemas, theaters and sports games with spectators. City officials are also enforcing and notifying businesses of Governor Baker’s statewide declaration that all bars and restaurants in Massachusetts will be shut down for on-premise consumption starting March 17 through May 18. During that time, these establishments can continue to offer food for takeout or delivery.

Stay safe, and together we will get through this.
