Opened by husband-and-wife team Maria Rondeau and JuanMa Calderón, La Royal is a vibrant Peruvian restaurant just steps from their Cambridge home. Chef Calderón builds on the rustic home cooking he grew up with in Lima, offering creative takes on dishes from across Peru’s diverse regions. Designed by Rondeau, the former printing press has been transformed into an airy, open-kitchen space that celebrates food, community, and collaboration.
