From the award-winning team behind Wusong Road, Gato Exotico invites diners into a tropical paradise created in celebration of the bold flavors of Mexico. Gato Exotico’s menu highlights bright Latin American flavors created through Chef Jason Doo’s partnership with the mother and son duo of Chef Sergio Enriquez and his mother Doña Ana Enriquez. Small plates include mango habanero wings with mango and jicama slaw; plátano macho croquettes with chihuahua cheese; and playful street treat ‘Dorinachos’ with queso, grilled corn, and pico. Guests will also see birria fries with melted cheese and guacamole, stuffed jalapeños with bacon and corn, warm queso fundido served with tortillas, and hand-made tamales that come in three family inspired styles. The taco section offers a wide range of fillings including lengua, al pastor, mushroom medley, chicharron, crispy fish, cochinita pibil, and birria. Larger plates include aarne asada, chile relleno, Enchiladas, asado de puerco, cochinita pibil, and chicken mole.

Gato Exotico is designed to feel like a journey into Mesoamerica with hand formed terracotta tiles, lush Latin American florals, and warm natural textures throughout the dining room. The atmosphere mixes greenery, soft light, and clay finishes to create a welcoming setting for both daily meals and celebrations. Two private dining rooms are hidden within the space and feature Aztec inspired stonework and carved details. The goal is to offer guests a sense of discovery and to create an escape while keeping the spirit of Latin American hospitality at the center of the experience.
