A Place Called Home – Our Voices, Our Story, Our Legacy: Celebrating Black Cambridge Youth through the Arts

For 88 years, youth at the Community Art Center have captured everyday Black and Brown life in Cambridge. Honoring Community Art Center’s remarkable legacy in Cambridge, and its storied heritage as a pioneering arts organization, Community Art Center’s photographic collection offers a singular and extensive visual archive of the city, with a particular focus on the Port neighborhood as it once was.

Now, these images will come to life in a public exhibit-sharing the stories of children and families, seen through the eyes of generations of Community Art Center youth.
