Join scientists, artists, and Indigenous leaders to explore how courage, imagination, and wisdom pass from one generation to the next — on the tenth anniversary of E.O. Wilson’s Half-Earth.
The program includes a land acknowledgment and performances by Larry Spotted Crow Mann (Hassanamisco Nipmuc Nation) · live photography and film by Florian Schulz · a tribute to E.O. Wilson in his own words · a session on the resilience of New England’s forests with Sherri Mitchell (Penobscot Nation) and the Harvard Forest · a keynote on the Endangered Species Act with a performance by Julian NoiseCat and the presentation of the E.O. Wilson Legacy Award for Transformative Conservation Leadership to the Gorongosa Restoration Project.
